Merging Technology Into Biology
Neuralink is an American technology company best known for it's goal on implantable brain–machine interfaces. Although it is closely linked to the development of neural implants, its scientific, technological, and creative endeavors mostly occur in other fields.
In this sample non-commercial project, we focus on the first impression and controversial strategies to capture user attention. For instance, the website homepage reflects a dystopian atmosphere, a notable headline, and a sleek effective design.
To exemplify Web Drive design style, we adopted a conventional user interface design that has been applied widely by many modern websites in the medical industry, especially those related to medical and health care products.
Our design style focused on the product artwork (Photography or CGI) to convey a message and display end consumer expectations.
To Immerse and Evoke Emotions
The featured piece of artwork on the homepage is a work of art by french artist Luke Aegis. Digital manipulation allows Luke to create a "fictional" artwork that may be difficult to get from photography.
The approach to this design strategy is to convey a curious atmosphere to the users. Controversial visuals and headlines impress users and keep them interested to explore the site.
We have to figure out some way to ensure that the advent of digital super intelligence is one which is symbiotic with humanity. I think that is the single biggest existential crisis that we face.
